GFS Server is now hosted on Google Code. GFS Server was built back in January 2008 from several other existing open source projects and samples in particular from Apache’s Mina project. Its only natural now that I turn it over as open source. Hopefully others can find this project useful and perhaps clean up the code! I just haven’t had the time to really work on it and give it the attention it needs. Relocating back to Texas this year kinda ate up my time!

I love GFS Server! Can you provide some details about the performance of the server? How many concurrent requests is it able to serve? What about the latency time? Thank you so much for an answer!
Uh this thing is cool but i keep getting errors :(
I love this GFS server too, it’s awesome and very usable!!
Unfortunately, i keep getting errors too… What about the forum, it seems to be offline, or am i searching on the wrong spot?
The google code thing doesn’t seem to be very active. I’ve tried to get the code running. I’ve managed to put it on a windows box remotely and the chat app is still running after 24 hours.
Mainly, cross domain thing… it would be good to get this code in subversion and a readme of how to set it up.
@Frozenace,
There is documentation included in the zip file as well as a wiki page. The cross domain thing you need to go to Adobe for and read their documentation and it will help you get it working.
